Remember Sandra Bullock floating in space in 'Gravity' and taking a collection of Oscars to space? Because even if they get that far is only available to Hollywood, one of Malaga team has reinvented the technology to make the leap to weightlessness and roll the ambitious short film 'Matryoshka', the new film by Fran Kapilla, who has spent the baroque world opera that portrayed in his film 'the daughters of Danaus' to this tape located light years away. Specifically in Earth orbit, which is the first local production is set in space and has spared no means and, above all, wit to narrate a story of survival aboard the Russian Soyuz spacecraft. "We used techniques 'Gravity' with more craft, but just as spectacular were used to '2001'," explains the director of this orbital adventure, which already has clear what will be the landing zone of this film: the same nASA and its international short film competition held next January.

Pues aunque parezca que llegar tan lejos solo está al alcance de Hollywood, una equipo malagueño ha reinventado esta tecnología para dar el salto a la ingravidez y rodar el ambicioso cortometraje ‘Matryoshka’, la nueva película de Fran Kapilla, que ha pasado del barroco mundo de la ópera que retrató en su largometraje ‘Las hijas de Danao’ a esta cinta situada a años luz. Concretamente en la órbita terrestre, lo que supone la primera producción local que se ambienta en el espacio y que no ha escatimado medios y, sobre todo, ingenio para narrarnos una historia de supervivencia a bordo de la nave rusa Soyuz. «Hemos utilizado técnicas de ‘Gravity’ con otras más artesanales, pero igual de espectaculares que se utilizaron para ‘2001’», explica el director de esta aventura orbital, que ya tiene claro cual será la zona de aterrizaje de esta película: la misma Nasa y su certamen internacional de cortos que se celebra el próximo mes de enero.
